Server not in Network Neighborhood due to client has not been installed.
Cause:
The network client has not yet been set up in Windows 95.
Solution:
Double-click the 'Network' icon in the 'Control Panel' window. Click the 'Configuration' tab, and click 'Add...'. Select 'Client', and click 'Add...'. Add 'Client for Microsoft Networks'.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the Windows 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
3) Double-click the 'Network' icon. (The 'Network' dialog box appears.)
4) Click the 'Configuration' tab.
5) Click 'Add...'. (The 'Select Network Component Type' dialog box appears.)
6) Select 'Client' from the 'Click the type of network component you want to install' list box.
Select 'Client'
7) Click 'Add...'. (The 'Select Network Client' dialog box appears.)
8) Select 'Microsoft' from the 'Manufacturers' list box. (Microsoft network services appear in the 'Network Services' list box.)
9) Select 'Client for Microsoft Networks' from the 'Network Clients' list box.

10) Click 'OK'.
11) Insert the Windows 95 installation CD-ROM diskette if prompted. (After the files are copied, the 'System Settings Change' dialog box appears, prompting you to restart the computer to enable the settings.)
CAUTION: To prevent data loss, save all open files, and exit all applications before restarting.
12) Click 'Yes' to restart the computer to enable the new settings.
